Production Operative

Major Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Production Operative to join a busy and growing manufacturing team.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Pay Rate: £13.04 per hour

Role Overview

As a Production Operative, you will play an important role in ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, where quality, teamwork, and attention to detail are key.

Key Responsibilities

• Working across both warehouse and production areas within a busy manufacturing environment.
• Assisting with the mixing of chemicals, following full training.
• Carrying out general production duties to support daily operations.
• Ensuring products are processed, handled, and prepared accurately.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace.
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times.
• Working towards production targets while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Supporting team members to help ensure an efficient workflow.

About You

• Previous production or manufacturing experience is essential.
• Reliable, hardworking, and a strong team player.
• Good attention to detail with a proactive approach to work.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Punctual with a strong commitment to attendance.
• COSHH knowledge is desirable, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
